They also feature a visible air sole unit. The Air Jordan 3 (III) have a very funny story behind them. They were designed by Tinker Hatfield (the first of many that he has designed), and actually kept Michael from leaving Nike. When he saw them for the first time, it was like watching his child being born, he simply fell in love.A retro of the sneaker worn by MJ in the 1988 All-Star Game, the Black Cement III’s would later be retroed two more times in 2001 and in 2008 as part of the Countdown Pack, although the CDP version had a Jumpan on the heel rather than a Nike Air. This shoe contains black leather uppers, with a grey perforated ankle, all put together with the signature cement print.
