Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Retro - Playoffs (Black / Varsity Red - White) were released on December 22, 2007.They feature the same design as the Originals, except that the original "Playoffs" featured a black midsole, where as these feature a grey midsole. They also feature a black upper, with anti-inversion cross straps, a poly carbonate torsion plate, air sole, and an inner sock similar to the Nike Air Huarache. The Air Jordan 8 (VIII) are sometimes referred to as the "Bugs Bunnies", because people would take the straps, and make them into loops, similar to rabbit ears.



It has been an excruciating wait for the Jordan fans out there waiting to snatch up a pair Air Jordan 8 Playoffs Retro as soon as they hit store.
